TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - PIPPIN STREET, BRINDLE

***UPDATE: Lancashire County Council is currently assessing if the proposed works on Pippin Street can be amended so that a road closure is no longer required. the proposal is to instead reduce Pippin Street speed limit to 20mph and the works to be undertaken under a lesser form of traffic management which can leave the road open for public use as normal.
Lancashire County Council have given notice on a temporary road close taking place at Pippen Street, Brindle from Monday 3 November to Friday 28 November 2025, to allow excavation works to be carried out to replace existing water main with new main using insertion method of practice.
